Obituary for Carol Haulenbeek

Carol  Haulenbeek
Mrs. Carol D. Haulenbeek, age 73 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, June 4, 2018 at her home.

Carol was born February 22, 1945 in Jefferson City, Mo. the daughter of Jacob and Nellie Houser Hartman. She was married on September 19, 1964 in Jefferson City, Mo. to Frank G. Haulenbeek, Jr. and preceded her in death on April 6, 1996.

A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Carol graduated from Jefferson City High School.

She was employed with Scholastic for several years prior to providing day care for many children throughout the years.

Carol enjoyed her time with her many children that she provided care and also cherished her time with her family.

Survivors include: one son, Frank G. Haulenbeek, III of Centertown, Mo.; one daughter, Terri L. Chilton and her significant other, David Ezell-Crow; six grandchildren, Danielle Peek and her husband Kyle, Matthew Haulenbeek and his significant other Cassandra, Curtis Haulenbeek, Brooke Chilton, Dylan Chilton, and Shayne Haulenbeek; three great grandchildren, Josie Snow, Jensen Peek, and Mackenzie Haulenbeek; and her ex-son-in-law, James Chilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter-in-law, Maribeth Haulenbeek, and two brothers, Robert Hartman and Kenneth Hartman.

Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, June 8, 2018 in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Bob Nilges officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
