Obituary for Angela A. Deppe

Angela A.  Deppe
Mrs. Angela A. “Angie” Deppe, age 88, of Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Golden Living Center.

She was born on July 16, 1927 in Koeltztown, Mo. the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Burnett) Hoffman. She was married on October 21, 1952 in Hermann, Mo. to Robert “Bob” Deppe, who preceded her in death on November 29, 2005.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, she attended the Koeltztown High School.

Angie was a homemaker for the majority of her life and worked as a professional cleaner helping clean state office buildings in Jefferson City for over five years.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and had a strong faith.

Angie was a devoted mother and grandmother and her family meant the world to her. She enjoyed cooking for her family, flowers, and gardening. She and Bob faithfully planted a big garden every spring and summer so they could can vegetables for the winter months.

Survivors include: two sons, Robert Deppe, Jr. (wife Virginia) of Richmond, Virginia and Jim Deppe (wife Brenda) of New Bloomfield, Mo.; three daughters, Marie Lucas (husband Joe) of New Bloomfield, Mo., Wanda Hendricks (husband Bill) of Holts Summit, Mo. and Linda Rennekee (husband Jim) of Meta, Mo.; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Carver of Holts Summit, Mo.; one son-in-law, David Deeken of Vienna, Mo.; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Deppe; one son, Larry Carver; one daughter, Shirley Deeken; one granddaughter, Amy Phillips; one infant grandson, Robert Goben; four brothers, Lawrence, Louis, Albert and George Hoffman; and five sisters, Sophie Stegeman, Rose Hertzing, Frances Renkemeyer, Bernadette Schroeder and Cecilia Carver.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Freeman Mortuary.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in the Freeman Chapel with The Reverend Cesar Anicama. Graveside services and interment will be held at Summit Memorial Gardens in Holts Summit, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Angela Deppe Memorial Fund.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
