Obituary for Becky Wilbers
Rebecca Sue “Becky” Wilbers, age 63, of Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at StoneBridge Adams Street.
Becky was born on December 11, 1958 in Jefferson City, Mo. a daughter of Clyde Herman Frank Korsmeyer and Leorae (Seaver) Korsmeyer.
A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Becky was a 1976 graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.
Becky worked as a real estate agent in the RE/MAX Jefferson City office.
She possessed a strong faith throughout her entire life. When she was younger, her family attended Trinity Lutheran Church but later in life, she enjoyed her involvement with Faith Lutheran Church.
Becky loved to travel, especially enjoying time in Mexico, the Caribbean and at the Lake of the Ozarks riding jet skis. She was an avid reader and a lifelong fan of both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Survivors include: two brothers, Mark Korsmeyer (Patti) of Bradenton, Fl. and Danny Korsmeyer of Jefferson City, Mo.; one nephew, Ryan Korsmeyer (Kayla) of Urich, Mo.; two nieces, Sarah Shinn (Josh) of Lake St. Louis, Mo. and Megan Korsmeyer of Tampa, Fl.; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Clayton, Jordan, Jillian, Jenna and Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leorae, on March 6, 2005 and her father, Clyde, on April 30, 2018.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Tony Alter officiating. Please note that this service will be held after the first of the year.
Private graveside services and interment will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Lohman, Mo.
