Obituary for Bill Parish
Mr. William Michael Parish, 65, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Boone Hospital.
Bill was born on April 25, 1954 in Springfield, Illinois, a son of Clarence and Dorothy (Collins) Parish. He was married on September 6, 1974 in Salem, Missouri to Donna Marie Hug.
Bill was a 1972 graduate of Salem High School in Salem, Missouri and attended Linn State Technical College.
He began his professional career working at Von Hoffman Press in 1972 and retired in 2009.
Bill found peace being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved spending time with his family at the Lake of the Ozarks, Truman State Park, and attending air shows.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 44 years, Donna Parish; his daughter, Lisa Yarberry (Jeremy) of Olathe, Kansas; his sisters, Linda Owen (Bill) of Billings, Missouri, Betty Jo Pyatt of Rolla, Missouri and Luann Young (Dale) of Springfield, Missouri; and his granddaughters, Renee Yarberry, Addison Yarberry and Caitlyn Yarberry.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
