Obituary for Carol Jones

Carol Denise Jones, age 67, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on June 24, 2020 at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on March 19, 1953 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Arthur and Betty (Williams) Caldwell. She was married on November 16, 1990 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Darrel Jones, who preceded her in death on September 12, 2007.

She graduated from Imperial High School and attended some college at Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas.

While she had many types of employment, she gravitated to Floral Design and Artistry. She loved working in the dirt, gardening and bringing plants to life.

She was an artist and painted many clay pots for her plants to grow in. She was a jewelry maker and made beautiful necklaces and bracelets for others to enjoy. She was very creative in her painting and bead work. She loved to sew and make quilts, her favorite being a heart quilt made out of Jean shaped hearts that her mother started.

She is survived by her son, Jeremiah Galimore and wife Bethany; granddaughter, Madison and grandson, Samuel; step-daughter, Nicole Stocks and husband Rick, grandsons, Hayden and Colten; step-daughter, Amber Guernsey and husband Ty, granddaughters, Emerie and Ensley, and grandson, Everett; sister, Donna Caldwell and husband Don Campbell, nephews Jon, Daniel, Paul, and Richard Griffith, and niece Nicole Borkholder; mother-n-law, Dorothy Jones; sisters-in-law, Debbie and husband Scott Sims, Elaine and husband Dan Frickey, Cindy and husband Jim Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Betty; husband, Darrel; father-in-law, Arnold Jones; and sister, Mary Griffith.

Services will be held privately for the family at a later date.
