Obituary for Carol Taggart
Mrs. Carol Ann Taggart, 81, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Harrisonville, Mo. on Friday, February 12, 2021.
She was born on October 3, 1939 in Versailles, Mo. to Ralph and Ann (Bell) Elley. She attended Tipton High School and was employed at several banking institutions throughout Central Missouri.
On January 21, 1961 she married the love her of life, Howard Taggart and became a stay at home mom raising their children. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Victoria Chapter #14 and the Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Arie 2693.
Survivors include: her husband, Howard Taggart, two daughters; a son; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
