Obituary for Charles Guehrer

Charles Arnold Guehrer, age 60 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on December 26, 2018, at River City Nursing Home in Jefferson City, Mo.

He was born on February 6, 1958 in Crocker, Mo. the son of Donald R. and Loreen (Perkins) Guehrer. In 1980, he was married to Beverly McComb in Crocker, Mo. and to this marriage his four children were born.

A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, he attended school at Crocker RII in Crocker, Mo. Charlie later went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He was in the Army until ill health lead to his medical discharge.

Charlie was a free spirit and enjoyed being outdoors. He was always interested in the next adventure and just loved being out and about with friends and family. Some of his fondest memories were when all of his family got together.

Survivors include: his son, Jason Guehrer of Cuba, Mo.; three daughters, Rebecca Wall of Iberia, Mo., Hannah Robinson and her husband Chris of Jefferson City, Mo. and Kimberly Guehrer of California, Mo.; a sister, Donna Landreth of Lebanon, Mo.; a brother, Gerald Guehrer of Richland, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Crocker Christian Church in Crocker, Mo. with the Reverend Larry Richardson officiating. A visitation will follow his service at the church.

Graveside services and interment with military honors will be held at the Crocker Cemetery.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Crocker Christian Church.
