Obituary for Clifford "Cliff" Siebeneck

Clifford John “Cliff” Siebeneck, 89 years, of Wardsville, Mo., passed away peacefully Monday, May 9, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 29, 1932 in his family home in Wardsville to Steve and Bertha (Mueller) Siebeneck. He was married on November 17, 1951 in Jefferson City to Loretta Anna Bemboom.

A lifelong resident of the Wardsville area, Cliff graduated from Immanuel Lutheran School.

As a teenager, Cliff cut staves and cleared the right-of –way for Three Rivers Electric and drove a soda truck for Nehi Bottling Company. He then went to work for Von Hoffmann Press and McGraw Edison, before retiring in 1991 after 19 years as a Supervisor for Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

He was a man of faith, holding membership at Immanuel Lutheran Church Honey Creek.

Cliff enjoyed being outdoors and he could often be found dancing, coon hunting, working with his Wood-Mizer saw mill and exploring nature. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife. Most of all, Cliff cherished spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for always being there when you needed him, and endlessly spoiling his grandchildren.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 70 years, Loretta Siebeneck; six daughters, Sue Distler (Dan), Anna Rackers (Butch), Mary Boessen (Donnie), Cyndi Howser, Janet Boessen (John “Jr”) and Malinda “Katie” Nelson (Greg); 13 grandchildren, Michelle Distler, Christy Distler (Jeff), Amy Stockman (Tom), Heather Bisges (Jeff), Jimmy Rackers (Stacey), Adam Boessen, Evan Boessen, LeAnn Manes (Brian), John Boessen (Tasha), Jason Boessen, Jody Wieberg (Carl), Seth Nelson (Leesa) and Hanna Voss (Russell); 24 great-grandchildren, Jeydan, Madison, Macey, Cole, Kaleb, Kaidyn, Connor, James Ethan, Logan, Kaylee, Gage, Brady, Brock, Bryce, Melayni, Saydi, Kya, Haley, Tyler, Aiden, Tucker, Katie, Allie and Lillie; two great-great-grandchildren, Raylon and Wayde; siblings, Delores Branch, Ray Lee Siebeneck (Billie), Darlene Meister, John Siebeneck (Jane); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marvin and Steven Siebeneck (Donna); and brothers-in-law, Norman Branch and Mike Meister.

Visitation will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Honey Creek from 4:00 until 7:00 pm Thursday, May 12, 2022. An additional visitation will be held before the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, May 13, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Honey Creek with the Reverend Warren Brandt officiating. Graveside services will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Wardsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project or Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
