For over 18 years, Daniel worked as a Journeyman Tree Trimmer at Asplundh and Shade Tree.

Among his many hobbies, Daniel enjoyed activities such as playing horseshoes, hunting, fishing, and barbecuing. He took great pleasure in hosting fish fry gatherings for his friends, showcasing his love for entertaining. His storytelling skills were unmatched. One of his passions involved restoring vintage vehicles, particularly his beloved Chevy truck and a vibrant red 67 Firebird. Whether it was a family trip to Louisiana or leisurely cruising on his boat across the lake, Daniel cherished these experiences. His daughter will forever hold dear memories of him teaching her how to ride a bike and drive a manual transmission car. His everlasting loyalty to the Kansas City Chiefs will be forever celebrated.

His family will always remember Daniel as a leader, a true man's man, authentic and genuine in his ways. He was a friend to everyone, and his laughter would often be accompanied by a mischievous charm. Deep down, he had a heart of gold, even if he sometimes displayed a cantankerous demeanor.
