Obituary for Donna Siebeneck

Donna Kay Siebeneck, 76, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on April 24, 1943 in Jefferson City, a daughter of the late Joseph and Beulah (Curtit) Butler. She was married on October 20, 1962 in Jefferson City, to Stephen F. Siebeneck Sr., who preceded her in death on January 31, 2019.

A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Donna was a 1961 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She started her employment with various positions at Capital Theater and Employment Security. After a number of years out of the workforce, she worked with St. Mary’s Health Center as a pediatric CNA, a position she cherished for over 20 years.

Donna volunteered for several organizations, including Trinity Lutheran School, Blair Oaks and the Red Cross. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the ladies auxiliary.
Donna was a quiet person, but she had a great sense of humor. Her dry wit will be remembered by those that knew her well. She loved pulling pranks with her sisters, Judy and Alice, including making humorous calls to a local radio show. Donna also enjoyed shopping for a good deal and playing bingo. But family was always the center of her life, and she loved going to her grandkid’s events, games and concerts.

Survivors include: her children, Stephen “Steve” Siebeneck Jr. (Carla) of Jefferson City, Mo., Stefani Sergeant (Paul) of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Chris Siebeneck (Kristen Fishback) of Columbia, Mo., and Britani Siebeneck of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Shelby Holzschuh (Andrew) of Jefferson City, Mo., Tayler Siebeneck of Jefferson City, Mo., Matthew Wilde of Irving, Texas and Brian Wilde of Springfield, Mo.; and one great-grandson Griffin Holzschuh.

Donna was also preceded in death by eight siblings: Loretta Erhardt, Harold Butler, Bill Butler, Earl Butler, Mildred Budd, Alice Knorp, Judy Butler, and Gary Butler. She also had two sisters pass in infancy, Jeanette and Dolores Butler.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:30 am Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday with the Reverend Samuel Powell and the Reverend Jesse Schlie officiating. Graveside services will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery at Honey Creek.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or Preferred Hospice.
