Obituary for Elvin Reed
Mr. Elvin King Reed, age 80, of Russellville, Mo., passed away on November 17, 2020.
Elvin was born on May 22, 1940, the son of John W. and Bessie S. (King) Reed.
Elvin was a simple man who took pride working outdoors on the family farm. He was respected, admired and loved by his friends and those closest to him. He is remembered for his sense of humor, his love for coffee, as an avid reader, a church attendee, and as a man of his own beliefs and opinions. Elvin believed in family values and took care of his parents until their passing preceding his death.
Elvin will be laid to rest next to his parents at Hopewell Cemetery in Barnett, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Private memorial arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
