Obituary for Jerry Lairmore
Mr. Jerry Wayne Lairmore, 74, of Elston, MO, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at the University Hospital.
He was born on December 27, 1947 in Jefferson City to Joe and Elsie (Shackelford) Lairmore. He was married on November 28, 1970 to Sharon Luadzers, who passed away on October 12, 1999.
Jerry worked for the Missouri Army National Guard. After retirement, he worked in maintenance for the Jefferson City Public Schools.
A hard worker, Jerry was always there to help family and friends with repairs or whatever else they needed him for. He will be remembered for his kind heart and outgoing personality.
He is survived by: his fiancée, Linda Coots of Jefferson City, her sons, Stacy and Clayton Coots, and granddaughters, Chloe and Lakelyn, who loved their Papa dearly; brother, Billy Lairmore (Dorothy) of Centertown; sister-in-law, Ann Lairmore of Osage Bend; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, his wife; three sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2022. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 PM in the Freeman Chapel. Graveside services will be at New Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the New Hope Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
