Obituary for Judy Wakeland-Jordan
Mrs. Judy M. Wakeland-Jordan, age 65 years, of Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Capital Region Medical Center.
Judy was born on January 29, 1954 in the state of Washington. She was married to Jerry Lee Jordan, who preceded her in death on October 14, 2012.
Judy was employed with Scholastics for several years and with a few retail companies in our community.
She attended Capital West Christian Church. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially celebrating birthdays and holidays, watching investigation and discovery shows on television, and being outdoors taking long walks.
Survivors include: five children, Tyler Wakeland, Daniel Trunkey, Christopher Henry, Davina Meyer, and Joseph Jones; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two children.
A prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020 in the Freeman Chapel with Mr. Ken Harland officiating. A visitation will follow the service at Freeman Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Judy Wakeland-Jordan Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 95, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Freeman Mortuary.
