Kenneth was born November 2, 1928, the only son of Cecil and Helen Zuver. He met the love of his life, Betty Jo Willcoxon and they were engaged on Valentine’s Day 1975. They were united in marriage on April 11, 1975, and shared 35 wonderful years together. She passed away on October 28, 2010.

He spent his career as an Engineer for the Missouri Highway Department in Hannibal and Jefferson City.

He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church and the Irwin Sunday School Class.

In their retirement years, Ken and Betty Jo purchased a travel trailer and journeyed extensively. In January 1991, they caravanned throughout Mexico. They particularly enjoyed Colorado where he would fish and metal detect. Every year they spent a couple months in Panama City.
