Obituary for Linda Zinta Lake

Linda Zinta Lake, of Camdenton, MO, passed away Friday December 7th, 2018, at Windsor Estates Convalescent Center in Camdenton, MO.

She was born March 2nd, 1957 in Jefferson City to Robert and Marta Riks From Latvia and Jefferson City, who preceded her in death. She was married in 1989 to Douglas Marshall who also preceded her in death. She is survived at home by her two children from that marriage, Lindsey and Harrison Marshall and her husband Eugene (Sonny) Lake, who she married in 2005.

After high school, Linda attended St. Paul's college in Concordia, MO before attending Lincoln University, then graduating at University of Missouri with a bachelor degree in music education. Linda taught and worked with music for over 20 years of her life. She was a devote musician, christian, and teacher of all things.

She is also survived by her sister, Diana Shaw of St Louis, MO, as well as beloved neices, nephews and various friends and family stretching from here to Colorado.

A memorial service will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Camdenton, MO. Linda worshiped and played her beloved piano for many services there. Visitation will be from 2-3 pm and the service will start at 3. She cared deeply for all people, esp. her good friends at her work, Ann Taylor, as well as everyone she crossed paths with at church. She is also survived at home but her very much loved cat, Minka, her best friend she found in Nebraska.
