Obituary for Pamela F. Phillips (McCarthy)
Pamela Frances Phillips, age 70 years, of Centertown, Mo., passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Capital Region Medical Center surrounded by family.
She was born on March 8, 1950 in Ottumwa, Ia., the daughter of George and Percilla McCarthy. She was married on March 14, 1968 in Jefferson City, Mo. to William Phillips who survives at home.
Survivors include: her loving husband of 52 years, William Phillips of Centertown, Mo.; one son, Kenneth “Goob” Phillips (wife, Nickie) of Centertown, Mo.; one daughter, Kelly Phillips-George (husband, Daniel) of Centertown, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Jan Affholder (husband, Jim) of St. Louis, Mo. and Susan Camp of Warner Robins, Ga.; four grandchildren, Brooke George (Brett Welschmeyer), Briar Phillips, Jill George and Thorn Phillips; and one great-grandchild, Bayne Schnieders.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marsha Richardson; one brother, Steve McCarthy; and one granddaughter, Taylor Phillips.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
