Obituary for Sandra S. Siebeneck

Mrs. Sandra Sue “Sassy” Siebeneck, age 75, of Jefferson City, Mo,. passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.

Sandra was born on January 26, 1945 in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Cletus E. and Della L. (Schanuth) Melcher. She was married on November 16, 1963 in St. Martins to Bobby G. Siebeneck.

A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Sandra was a 1962 graduate of Jefferson City High School.

In 2005, Sandra retired from her over 40-year career helping with business taxes at the Missouri Department of Revenue.

Sandra’s life revolved around her family and they will remember her caring and compassionate heart. When her children were younger, they went camping most weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks in their camper. As the kids have grown up, Sandra cherished the family getting together for meals and spending time together every weekend. Sandra was extremely supportive, and truly just wanted to be around her large family. She never missed the opportunity to go to her grandchildren’s sporting events or spend time with her “girls”, especially taking girl trips to Branson.

Sandra found peace being outdoors and enjoyed tending to her yard and flower garden. She had a beautiful 50-foot bed of flowers that brought everyone happiness in the family.

Survivors include: her loving husband of almost 57 years, Bobby Siebeneck; four children, Timothy Siebeneck of Jefferson City, Mo., Sheri Marreel (Dennis Clark) of Jefferson City, Mo., Brad Siebeneck (Ashley) of Holts Summit, Mo and Jennifer Carr (Roger) of Brazito, Mo; one brother, Robert Melcher (Dolores) of Kansas City, Mo; one sister, Debra Libbert (Darrell) of Brazito, Mo; one sister-in-law, Mary Melcher, of Jefferson City, Mo; one brother-in-law, Bill Siebeneck (Sandra) of Jefferson City, Mo; and five grandchildren, Sophia Marreel, Harper Hibdon, Kyliah Dassrath, Addison Carr, and Brylee Siebeneck.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Albert Melcher.
