Obituary for Sheri Ann Jausel

Sheri Ann Jausel, age 54, of Jefferson City, passed away at her home Friday, January 14, 2022 in Jefferson City.

She was born on March 29, 1967 in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter of Norbert Lee Jausel and Anna Marie Landis.

For many years, Sheri was a caretaker for various home healthcare agencies and truly had the heart of a caregiver.

Sheri was devoted to her faith and was a past member of Cornerstone Tabernacle in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Sheri had a love for scary movies and made sure to also carve out time to catch the latest episodes of the Big Bang Theory. She was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, and St. Louis Cardinals. Sheri especially relished the time she spent with her grandkids, who longingly called her “Gammer”. She enjoyed cheering them on at award ceremonies, debate competitions, orchestra concerts, softball games and just enjoyed loving and caring for her family. She cherished spending time with them at home, especially when her grandkids stayed overnight, as soon as they were dropped off, she announced they were “on Gammer time”, which was her absolute favorite. She was fiercely protective, a great listener and confidant and had an unfiltered sense of humor. Sheri had an unbreakable love for her family who will miss her dearly.
