Obituary for Stephanie M. "Steph" Dallmeyer

Ms. Stephanie Marie Dallmeyer, age 18, of Jefferson City, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

Stephanie was born on December 25, 2003 in Jefferson City, MO, the daughter of Stephan Douglas and Maria Benita (Vidad) Dallmeyer.

From a young age, Steph (as she preferred to be called) participated in martial arts, performed in dance recitals and played flute and piano. She excelled in archery and was a competitive swimmer for the YMCA’s Barracuda Swim Team throughout middle school and high school.

She was a Senior at Helias Catholic High School and would have graduated in just a few short weeks. At Helias, she played on the tennis team and was a student ambassador. She was a member of International Club, where she enjoyed learning about different cultures and their food. Steph devoted an incredible number of service hours by volunteering at Villa Marie, St Marys Hospital, her church and her school.

Stephanie was baptized at St. Martins Catholic Church, was an active member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph and was often an altar server then moved to lector/reader.

She worked as a lifeguard at Jefferson City Country Club, enjoyed teaching private swimming lessons, and babysitting. She also worked part-time at Domenico’s Italian Restaurant.

Steph loved traveling to the beach and visiting family in the Philippines. She was a talented baker and made amazing pies for family and friends. She had a sweet tooth for ice cream and just loved fried rice and “pancit “ (Filipino noodles). She enjoyed going to their farm, riding 4-wheelers, and deer hunting with her dad. Steph enjoyed being with her friends, making memories, and taking trips to the salon to get her nails done. She was a lover of animals, especially her dog Henni.

Stephanie will be remembered for her bright smile, her caring heart, and kind soul. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include: her loving parents, Steve and Benita Dallmeyer of Jefferson City, MO; maternal grandmothers, Cristina Vidad and Angela Pablo of Manila, Philippines; one uncle, Mike Dallmeyer (Rita) of Jefferson City, MO; three aunts, Pamela Rider (David) of Glen Allen, VA, Maria Mercedes Vidad of Manila, Philippines, and Maria Margarita Vidad of Charleston, SC: cousins; Melissa and Johnny Novak (daughters, Mary and Molly), Matt Dallmeyer, Mitch Dallmeyer (son, Michael) and Alex and Bri Dallmeyer (son, Asher); Becky Rider; and Meg Vidad; and her beloved dog, Henni.
