Obituary for Teresa Kay Woolridge
Mrs. Teresa Kay Arnold-Woolridge, of Jefferson City, Mo. was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world suddenly on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the age of 62.
Teresa was born on March 7, 1959 in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Orville H. Arnold Jr. and Juanita A. (Ludwick) Arnold. She was united in marriage on August 28, 1982 in Jefferson City, Mo. to Daniel Woolridge, who preceded her in death on February 5, 1998.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Teresa attended Jefferson City Public Schools.
From a young age, Teresa was an extremely hard worker. Teresa had the biggest heart and loved helping people. For many years she worked as a CNA in assisted living facilities. She was most recently employed at Castleparke Residential Care where she served the role as director. Teresa loved her patients and built strong relationships with each of them. She was a woman with a giving heart but never expected, and rarely accepted, help from others.
Teresa was good with her hands and kept herself busy by crocheting and doing puzzles. She was an avid animal love. Teresa loved going to car shows and swap meets. Teresa cherished her role as “TT” to Bentley and Cooper. She doted over her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy in life was raising her son. To know Teresa was to love her and she will be most remembered for her kind, caring, and generous nature.
Teresa will be greatly missed by her surviving family: three siblings, Mark Arnold (wife, Jackie) of Johnson City, Tn., Susan Patterson (husband, Gene) of Jefferson City, Mo., and Cindy Wolken (husband, John) of Eugene, Mo.; Austin Holeman of Jefferson City; stepdaughter, Lisa Kampeter of Jefferson City, Mo.; six grandchildren, Teresa Danielle Kampeter, Kaitlyn Kampeter, Kendra Kampeter, Bentley Holeman, Cooper Holeman and Blade Holeman, all of Jefferson City, Mo.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her longtime partner, Bill Frogge of Jefferson City, Mo.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one son, Allen Henry Arnold.
A Celebration of Teresa’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
