Obituary for Willie Richardson
Willie Earl Richardson, age 60, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away November 30, 2022 at his home.
He was born on February 7, 1962 in Columbus, Mississippi, the son of Willie Mack Richardson and Lillian Ball.
After receiving his GED, Willie went on to work for Sanderson Plumbing where he was a machine operator.
Willie had the opportunity to play his favorite sport, baseball, in his younger years. He enjoyed playing multiple positions and also never missed a chance to watch some baseball on TV. He also like playing a few rounds of chess or video games in his down time. Above all, Willie loved and cherished his family, especially his grandkids. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Willie is survived by: children, Rico Sherrod of Columbus, Miss., Willie Richardson, of Fulton, Mo., Dominique Richardson of Ohio, Sharlene Dillard (Jayshon) of Mexico, Mo; siblings, Elizabeth Cockrell (John), Angela Culp (James), Ernest Ball, Henry Ball, James Ball, Albert Ball; uncles William Richardson, Charley Parson, Albert Parson, Tommy Parson, Isaac Parson; aunt Annie Rich; significant other Ella Carter, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Willie is preceded in death by: his parents; mother of his children, Arlene Wofford; and brothers Herman, Timothy and Daniel Ball.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Freeman Mortuary, 915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
