Obituary for Charlotte Johnson
Mrs. Charlotte M. Johnson, age 81 years, of Hartsburg, Mo., died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Adams Street Place.
Charlotte was born July 18, 1934 in Kansas City, Mo. the daughter of Clifford S. and Effie Birdsong Stevens. She was married on January 17, 1960 in Hartsburg, Mo. to Charles H. Johnson who preceded her in death on July 31, 2014.
A homemaker, Charlotte was raised in Rocky Mount, Mo. and has been a resident of the Central Missouri area for over fifty years.
She as a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Hartsburg and she loved animals.
Survivors include: several nieces and nephews including her niece, Leona Nistendirk and her husband Richard of Hartsburg, Mo. and several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be at the Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend David Ray officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Boone County, Mo.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the New Hope Baptist Church or the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
