Obituary

Loise A. White, age 91, of Jefferson City, MO, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Adams Street Place.

She was born on July 3, 1929 in Jefferson City, MO, the daughter of Franklin T. and Sarah (Moore) Wehmeyer.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, she graduated from Jefferson City High School and went on to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Loise spent many years employed with Capital Reserve Life Insurance Company and Farm Bureau. She ultimately retired from the Office of the State Courts Administrator.

She was heavily involved in the Jefferson City community, volunteering her time with many organizations such as: the Collectors Club, Wreaths for Heroes, Veterans Appreciation/Bugle Boys, the Red Hat club, and many others.

Loise was a collector of many trinkets, enjoyed researching her family history, and loved to travel. But most of all, she will be remembered for her love of spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: her son, Greg White and wife, Evie, of Jefferson City, MO; her two grandsons, Josiah White of Texas and John White of Colorado; and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings: Fred Wehmeyer, Paul Wehmeyer, and Laura Machacek.

Funeral services will be held privately for the family with the Reverend Beau Underwood officiating. Friends may mail sympathy cards to the funeral home or leave condolences online to be given to her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
