Obituary for Sylvia J. Sigman

Print
Sylvia Judith Noll Fink Sigman, age 77, of Jefferson City, Mo., was united with the Lord on November 7, 2018, at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City, Mo.

She was born on March 27, 1941 in Winchester, Kansas, the daughter of A.T. and Pearl (Servaes) Noll. In 1964, she married Raphael Edward Fink and they had two children together; Raphael Edward Fink Jr. and David Michael Fink. In 1974, she married to Roy E. Sigman and they had a daughter, Teresa Ann Sigman.

She was a mother first, but spent ten years working at Tan-Tar-A in the Lake of the Ozarks. To be closer to home, she worked as a cook for Windermere Church Camp and Climax Springs R-IV School. Sylvia and Roy then moved to Kidder, Mo. after they retired.

Sylvia was always very active in her church and at the local Food Pantry. One of her biggest joys in life was making sure that everyone knew that Jesus Christ was Lord and Savior. She would drop everything to pray with someone. In her free time she enjoyed lilacs, taking walks in nature, painting and doing puzzles with loved ones.

Survivors include: her siblings; Nina (Leo) Kreutzer of Baseor, Ks., Doris (Don) Ruhlman of Oskaloosa, Ks., Juanita Jones of Leavenworth, Ks., Ruth (Kenneth) Hoffman of Emporia, Ks.; her children, Raphael ‘Ray’ Fink Jr. of Jefferson City, Mo., Rhonda (Craig) Lambert of Pattonsburg, Mo., Douglas (Paula) Sigman of Savannah, Mo., Darren (Ronda) Sigman of Maryville, Mo.; her grandchildren, Brant (Ashley) Melvin, Alyssa Lambert, Austin (Christen) Melvin, Lindsey (Josh) Parsons, Jessica (Tanner) Rickabaugh, Raeann Fink, Eric Sigman, and Madison Fink; and two great-grandchildren.

Sylvia was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy E. Sigman; her daughter, Teresa Sigman; her son, David Fink; and her brother, Tom Noll.

She has gone to a mansion prepared for her as promised by Our Heavenly Father. Her earthly body will be laid to rest at Climax Springs Cemetery, Climax Springs, Mo. with her family that has preceded her in death.

Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
